About NR

NewmRadio is a delicious smorgasboard of Newmly delights…music, life and love. Since I am an highly-organized multi-tasker, I’ve laid out for you many of the distinct segments you’ll find around here (in no particular order of importance):

  • The Best Band You’ve Never Heard In Your Life is just that. I keep learning that people have been hiding great bands from me, and I don’t want to be accused of doing the same to you.
  • Sh*t L*sts are lists that we’ll all do together just to get the blood flowing to the brain again. This Lists could be anything, but they’ll never be in essay form, so no worries. I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.
  • The Case for (Phil) Collins forces us all to reevaluate some of the harsh opinions that we’ve formed around a certain band or artist, by showcasing some of their work that actually should outshine their Disney soundtrack contributions.
  • The Dig This! segment features music in some way or another that has recently grabbed my attention.
  • Rock Trivia is just that…the questions are taken from Pressman’s 1984 smash-hit board game, Rock Trivia which was created by NewmRadio’s friend Ian Liberman. There are also some non-Pressman trivia questions that are made up on-the-fly by our crack rock music research team. What is crack-rock music anyway…Whitney Houston? Anyway…you will win prizes if you are the first to 10 points in Rock Trivia, so start answering now!

  • And finally, another kind of post you’ll find here are called Blog Jammin’, which will let you gaze into the world of celebrity and status through the bedazzled lens of Newms…whatever I mean by that.

So be sure to bookmark NewmRadio and come around whenever you have time to waste on your computer and let me know in comments about important stuff that’s going on in your world, because when it comes down to it…it’s OUR world and gosh darnit, I like US.
